A Note for Father's Day

Thank you Lord, for all I have...
for the love of my wife and my child.

For the few small things that pleasure brings.
For the joy in my day, and a smile...

Oh, thank you Lord for the times that I failed.
For each of my life's bumpy roads

...and letting me know that I'm strong when I'm frail,
if faith helps me carry the load.

With each passing day I get up from my bed,
not knowing what this day will bring.

For my life's in your hands, and my heart's in my life.

Thank you Lord. You didn't waste a thing!
